TORX DOUBLE PLUGS
All foot straps are equipped with the highest quality double plugs. There is no chance that the straps will rotate or twist. Another advantage is that you can still use the straps as single plugs to open up further adjustment options (which we only recommend to a limited extent).
+ARB SYSTEM - CHANNELS
The Air Release Booster has two complementary components: Air-Release-Channels and Air-Release-Tunnels.
Air-Release-Channels act like extended center cut-outs, providing an extra exit at the tail. They release excess air under the board, reduce pressure, improve release, and help prevent stalling.
Air-Release-Tunnels feed air from the deck into the Channels, which then mixes with the water below the board. This results in a hovering effect.
On the water, chop feels smoother, acceleration is effortless, overpowered situations are easier to handle, and acceleration improves. During jibes, the tunnels add grip and stability, allowing tighter, controlled turns with a safe, predictable feel.

The windsurf industry’s benchmark construction has been further improved. By carefully analyzing and optimizing the carbon fiber layup, strength and stiffness have been increased while weight has been significantly reduced. Additional carbon has been placed in key areas of the board, allowing for less fiberglass usage and resulting in a lighter, more durable, and more responsive feel on the water.

Dark Horse 5 – 116 +ARB
I tested the board with the 6.7 twice.
First time overpowered with 36 carpenter and 36 finish in onshore hard conditions in Le Jaï (rough chop)
Did a very good speed (35.9 over 2 seconds).
The planning is super quick and is effortless, boards planes much earlier than previous models.
The comfort of the deck and foot position is above everything I tried before. You can push really hard on the back foot without any pain.
Speed is also there, both top speed and average speed.
The light weight allows the nose to be higher in the lulls (more lift) without losing control in the gusts. Also you can “heel over” the board, (“à la gîte” in French) which mean the board can sail flat or also you can push hard on the rail under the wind (you Rail it). Very nice feeling.
Board is more powerful than the 107 and fits perfectly 6.7 to 8.2.
Also I felt on flat water a great upwind ability, board is pointing like nothing else which is super nice for passing someone upwind or for longue distances.

I tested the board only one time in 18/23 knots with 6.7 and 32 slm s-
Once again the board offers a lighter construction which allows to put 6.7 or 7.0 on it in 20 knots of wind. You have more lift even in these light winds.
Planning is amazingly quick for such a small board and the accelerations are effortless. You just need to focus on the stance. Board is jibing super short and offers a lot of speed on the exit thanks to the light and stiff construction.
Can’t wait to put the 6.1 and 5.6 on it !!

I was never going over 33 knots in my life with big boards. Now I'm touching 35 and without killing myself. The planing is amazing.
The combination with the Point-7 AC-1 8.8 sail is amazing. Everything is fitting and I feel like board and sails are connected.
I have my mast track at 129cm and the board is just flying. It's nice and very easy. I can push a lot and still it's not sticky. It's so nice to go out with the big board and 8.8 on flat water.
