Madness

The Future Fly Madness – shaped by Dany Bruch is the perfect board for pumping waves, strong winds, light guys, tight turns.

Built for super pro and advanced sailors, or lighter riders such as kids and women. The Madness is the most classic-shaped board in the range: the longest and narrowest, with a beautiful thin pintail that adapts the new era of compact wave boards to the qualities of the old school.

Rocker is tuned for the perfect combination of early planing and high top-end speed, without compromising control, full focus for jumps or any manouvers. Designed to excel in down-the-line conditions.

A narrower shape with this pintail turns with virtually no effort, laying its rail in the water like train tracks, eating chop with ease, and offering the shortest turning radius in the range, the least power needed to engage a turn. Bottom turns, top turns, jibes: shut your eyes and do it. Built for the light-footed sailor chasing grip and control, ready to go mad in a wave or through a jibe.

Shape

Smooth lines define the Madness's outline: a pintail combined with a fairly straight rail line. Smooth volume distribution keeps the tail thinner for wave-face feel and grip, with a thicker mid/front section for ease through shore break. Balanced from the first moment you step on it.

Tail

The pintail is the defining feature of this board, delivering ultimate hold and control. Its narrow shape sinks deeper into the water, generating extra traction, similar in effect to a larger fin. Turning, whether into a gybe or a bottom turn, happens off the tip of the toes. Through the top turn, grip and control combine with fast speed regeneration for a flawless feel.

Bottom Shape

Monoconcave runs from the nose to the front foot, transitioning into a double concave, then a vee through the tail.

The monoconcave locks the board to the water, giving control in hard, windy, or choppy conditions.

The double concave through the stance plus the tail vee keeps the board lively and aids turning, blending control with ease of turn initiation.

Rails

Sharp rails run from the tail through the back-center, pulling in progressively to fully rounded rails from the front foot to the nose.

Sharp tail rails create lift and release, letting the fins work and enabling effortless direction changes and top-turn release.

Rounded rails from the front foot forward bite and hold through a gybe or bottom turn, giving exactly the control needed to complete the turn.

Rocker

Tuned for early planing, top-end speed for high jumps, and control across all conditions: cruising, committed bottom turns, or maximum-height jumps. Rocker and bottom shape combine to make the nose feel weightless.
